Safe Motherhood for All has launched the First Baby Campaign – calling for social policies that reflect safe motherhood as a core value of our society. By talking with politicians, unions, service providers, and the general public, the First Baby Campaign aims to: educate the community, health professionals and mothers about respectful maternity care influence public policy to address the social determinants of safe motherhood, and achieve a safe transition to motherhood for women, their first babies, families and communities.
